Katie has been dancing since age 11 where she started taking Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, and Hip Hop classes. Though Katie has studied various styles, she especially enjoys Hip Hop and quickly excelled at this style. Katie has attended various dance competitions and furthered her training taking multiple workshops in NYC, primarily focusing on Theater and Hip Hop. She has been teaching for 8 years and the enjoyment of dance shines through her teaching style, leaving her dancers not only happy but also confident and eager to learn more and progress. Katie’s goal is to continue to light that fire for everyone who steps into her class.  Outside of the studio, Katie is a Sleep Apnea Consultant at a Holistic Dental Practice. She spends her free time enjoying where we live by either hiking or boating. Katie wants this studio to be a pressure free zone of pure enjoyment for dancers and parents. She wants dance to be students’ happy place, a place to feel good and forget about school or jobs for anyone who attends class here. She brings a lot of energy to the dance world, not only by teaching our students, but also through her lively choreography that she brings to community events. Katie is ecstatic to take teaching into her own hands and open this studio and bring all her ideas to life!
Annie was fortunate to dance at the age of 3, and never looked back. She studied at almost every school from Plattsburgh to NYC, and learned something valuable from every teacher. She studied all genres but studied Ballet extensively along with Jazz. She has ten years of experience in gymnastics where she competed for many years, but ultimately chose to focus on dancing. Some of her achievements include being in professional Nutcracker productions, winning “Gold” at various dance competitions, and being a member of her university dance team,  “Dance Corps”, where she explored other genres of dance and choreographed pieces for their shows. She has been teaching since 2012 and continues to take master-classes in NYC to expand on her own capabilities as well as picking up new material.  She is a certified licensed instructor through Acrobatic Arts and PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique). She also choreographed for a local high school musical. Outside of the studio she is a Real Estate Broker for her company SELLING ADK, she owns ADK Traveling Bar (a catering company), and is an outdoor sports enthusiast during her free time. She emphasizes the importance of a well-rounded life, as she danced 6 days/week in high school while being a 3-sport athlete in addition to the many other things she grew up experiencing. She expects the same to be possible for any dance student and will help them to also experience as much as possible in dance without neglecting other parts of life. Now, she is excited to take teaching to the next level and live out one of her childhood dreams
- owning a dance studio!

Brittany Caselnova

Brittany has been dancing since she was in 1st grade. She danced all through her elementary, middle school, and high school years at Divine Rhythms Dance studio on Long Island, NY where she grew up. After high school, Brittany attended SUNY Oswego, which is where she found her love for teaching hip hop. Brittany began teaching and choreographing hip hop for the Del Sarte Dance Club as a freshman and continued until she graduated in 2014. During her 4.5 years in Del Sarte, she successfully choreographed and arranged over 20 different hip hop pieces, including large and small groups, as well as duets and trios. Additionally, she participated as a dancer in over 40 pieces in various types of dance, including hip hop, tap, jazz, lyrical, and step/stomp. She credits her experience in Del Sarte with helping her develop as a choreographer, as she was given the freedom to be creative and figure out what worked and what didn’t as she went along. After graduating, Brittany moved to Glens Falls, NY and began teaching hip hop at Reality Dance Studio in Queensbury in the fall of 2015, where she stayed until 2020. Aside from teaching dance, Brittany works and volunteers in our local community as an EMT, and has just finished school to become an Ultrasound Technologist. When she is not working or dancing, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and dogs. She is excited to bring her experience and love of hip hop dance to The Body Barre!

Emily began her dance training at the age of five. She started training with Caroline Beaty when she was eight. Caroline continued to foster Emily’s love of ballet and encouraging her to try other styles of dance. Emily has studied ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, and tap. Emily has studied and has taken student exams for Cecchetti grades I-V receiving high marks. Emily was on the competition team for Reality Dance Studio for two years before she graduated. This gave her the opportunity to not only dance competitively, but also to perform for her community at local sporting events and Boo to You. During Emily’s time as a student at Reality Dance Studio she participated in the Nutcracker performing various roles from Reed Flute Soloist, to Dew Drop, to Snow Queen. She was also given the opportunity to dance at the New York City Ballet’s Gala at SPAC. Emily was first given the chance to teach her senior year and she fell in love with being able to share her love of dance with the next generation. After graduating high school she went away to college at Bridgewater State University to study history. After a year there Emily decided it was a positive decision for her to return home transferring to SUNY Empire State University. This was a very gratifying choice as she was not only able to be closer to her family, but was able to start teaching again. Emily finds each year more rewarding than the last as she is able to learn new ways to teach, she is met with new challenges, and is able to hopefully instill a love for dance in each new class. This is Emily’s sixth year of teaching. Emily has had the opportunity to teach and choreograph for the Reality Dance Competitive Team. She had students ranging from the ages of 7-16 compete in many high scoring solos, duets, and small and large groups. Emily’s competition team pieces have won many high placement and specialty judges awards. Emily has received the Apogee Award from Starquest in the competitive division, which means her dance received the highest score in the competitive division. Emily has also received a highly-sought-after choreography award at Starquest Dance Competition.
